Health & Safety

As you know, we are currently faced with unprecedented times in dealing with the COVID–19 virus, and the information that we are receiving seems to evolve hourly. The team at Bay Hill Club & Lodge has been monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization and we are responding quickly and effectively. We want to assure you that our priorities are to help the nationwide effort to prevent further spread of the virus, to provide comfort and safety to our Members and guests, and to support our valued team members. Efforts to keep our facility as clean and safe as possible include:

  • The frequency of in-house cleanings has been increased to near-constant, with an emphasis on regularly sanitizing often-touched areas such as door handles, push plates, and railings.
  • PPE Kits are available at the Front Desk, which include a mask and two sanitizing wipes.
  • On the golf course, cart steering wheels and all touched surfaces are being wiped down and sanitized.
  • Our Food and Beverage team already operates to the strictest government guidelines concerning gloves, sanitation and cleanliness standards.
  • We are constantly reviewing new information and direction from the government, CDC and World Health Organization to ensure best practices are in place.

Face Coverings

Due to the availability of vaccines, declining numbers of cases in our area and guidance from the CDC, the Bay Hill Club & Lodge has adopted a voluntary or optional mask policy for members and guests. We will continue to enforce a mask policy for our employees (those working indoors only). Throughout COVID our priority has been the health and safety of all members, guests and employees. We will continue to operate in line with this effort as we step closer to a sense of normalcy for all of us.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that during these uncertain times your plans may change unexpectedly and we want to provide you the flexibility you need to confidently book your stay with us. The Lodge at Bay Hill will continue to offer a flexible 72-hour cancellation policy. Full refunds will be applied when cancellations are made within the noted time.
